What's Happening This Summer

Thunder Over Michigan Air Show (Van Buren Township) | July 17–19 | Willow Run Airport
One of the region's premier air shows returns for a historic weekend celebrating America's 250th birthday. Highlights include the Royal Air Force Red Arrows making their first North American appearance since 2019, the USAF F-16 Viper Demo Team flying in special red, white and blue paint, the USMC MV-22 Osprey, P-51 Mustangs, aircraft rides, a kids adventure zone, and pyrotechnics. A full weekend of family fun right in Southeast Michigan.

Music in the Air (Plymouth) Every Friday Night All Summer | Kellogg Park, 7pm
Free concerts run for 14 summer Friday nights on the outdoor stage in Kellogg Park. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy live music right in the heart of downtown Plymouth. 🔗 downtownplymouth.org

Music in the Ville (Northville) Tuesdays–Saturdays All Summer | Northville Town Square
Northville's summer concert series features themed nights throughout the week. Kids' concerts on Tuesdays, dancing on Wednesdays, jazz on Thursdays, acoustic acts on Fridays, and big band performances on Saturdays. All shows are free and held on Main Street. 🔗 downtownnorthville.com

Plymouth Art in the Park (Plymouth) July 10–12 | Downtown Plymouth
Now in its 46th year, this event has grown into Michigan's second largest art fair, drawing nearly 300,000 visitors as more than 400 artists from 31 states and Canada transform downtown Plymouth into a vibrant outdoor gallery. Ann Arbor Art Fair (Ann Arbor) July 16–18 | Downtown Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor Taco Fest(Ann Arbor) | July 31–August 2 | Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, 5055 Ann Arbor Saline Road
A celebration of Mexican American cuisine with 30+ taco trucks, taco and hot pepper eating contests, and lucha libre wrestling. Fun for all ages. Fri 5pm–10pm, Sat 11am–10pm, Sun 12pm–7pm.
