Hiring: Marketing Manager

Are you a Creative with a marketing mindset? Do you have knowledge and experience in the world of mortgage? Our next Marketing Manager is great at developing project timelines, strategizing creative campaigns and crafting mortgage-based copy and messaging. 

From start to finish, you'll play a big part in supplementing and supporting our sales force with multimedia content kits and guidance. This role also drives marketing initiatives and sets the creative stage for our real estate one-stop shop, which includes our mortgage, title, insurance and rental management companies.

You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and department management to plan, develop and launch multimedia materials. You are both a communicative leader and a resourceful doer, who loves to think ahead and is always eager to learn what's next in the marketing and real estate industries.

Skill sets required for this position are project management and coordination, copywriting, and social media management. Additional skill sets and previous experience in graphic design, email creation, website management and video production/editing are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership: Lead projects and people. Motivate your Marketing Specialist teammate and initiate project development and next steps. Oversee every stage of the project from inception to completion. Prioritize timelines, direct vision and streamline execution.

Brand Development: Create personal brand logos. Name new products and programs. Craft content to drive brand consistency, awareness and visibility for our affiliate companies.

Copywriting: Research all details and translate information into effective copy that converts. Take complex topics and make it appealing and easy to understand for our target audiences.

Visual Thinking: Have a solid eye for polished, clean design for all multimedia assets from print to digital. Generate creative concepts and visual inspiration for design direction. Communicate design needs to Marketing Specialist and adjust/review work with our Marketing + Creative Director.

Social Media Management & Engagement: Plan evergreen social media content on a monthly basis. Write captions, research hashtags, design posts, assess analytics and engage on platforms. Develop personalized social media kits for our sales teams. Research strategies and lead initiatives to grow social channels, including influencer-based initiatives and running contests. Personalize templates and input orders for social media ads placed by sales team members.

Technology Adoption & Integration: Utilize our current software suite, which includes various CRMs, creative programs (Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva) and Microsoft Outlook. Adopt, implement, and maintain marketing technology solutions to support automation where possible.

Performance Analysis: Measure the effectiveness of creative campaigns and initiatives, using insights and data reports.

Support & Training: Provide support sessions for sales team members who request coaching on social media and other marketing practices. Lead marketing presentations and overviews for potential recruits and newly onboarded sales team members. Create and hold workshops to help train and empower our sales team to adopt new marketing practices and tools. Present helpful topics and marketing updates at company-wide meetings.

Administration & Organization: Help clean contact and data lists. Track project pipeline progress, intake project requests and establish deadlines. Stay on top of proofreading and final review before projects are launched.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing-related field (Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design)

  • 5-10 years of experience in corporate or agency marketing

  • Portfolio displaying a range of creative marketing abilities

  • Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills

  • Proficient in software including Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere), Microsoft Office and design platforms like Canva and Marq

  • Well-acclimated with social media channels and management platforms

  • In-depth knowledge of design principles, brand development, and marketing strategies

  • Confident and comfortable with strong interpersonal skills and a “client-first” mindset

  • Background knowledge in real estate-related fields (mortgage, insurance, title, brokerage) is a big plus!
