John Adams Mortgage (JAMCo) is looking for an EXPERIENCED Full Time Underwriter to work in our Corporate Headquarters located in Southfield, MI.
The successful candidate will have:
3-5 years CURRENT experience underwriting experience with Conventional loans (FHA and VA loans a plus);
experience working in a paperless environment;
be able to communicate effectively with Loan Officers, Underwriting, Operations Management and other departments face to face, via e-mail and/or phone as appropriate;
a strong understanding of today's mortgage industry (for entry level positions the ability to learn);
be able to meet and exceed deadlines;
be highly organized;
be quality minded;
and be able to flex with the changing industry.
